Terms and Conditions
Updated 21st March 2024
By using Fintuity Financial Wellbeing Service, you agree to the Terms of Use. To contact Fintuity Ltd, please email support@fintuity.com. Our registered address is 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX. You should read these Terms below along with our Privacy Policy.
1. About Us
Fintuity Ltd (Fintuity/we/us) is a company registered in England and Wales with a registered office at 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX. You can check our details by visiting Companies House website (10849933).
2. Accepting the terms
These legal terms are between you and Fintuity Ltd and you agree to them by using the Fintuity Financial Wellbeing Service (the Service) that we provide which is available via the Fintuity client web portal (The Web Portal) or mobile application (The App) together (The Fintuity Platform).
In order to use the Service, you need to agree to the Terms. This can be done by simply accessing the Service and providing payment details that we will use to charge for using the Service. You shouldn’t use the Service if you’re not allowed to do so under UK laws. The Terms apply from the commencement of the Service until a time that you cease to use it.
3. Using the Service
The Service also provides access to a financial expert, who may be a qualified finance professional. Fintuity’s financial experts are contracted to provide financial guidance as per the following definitions:
“Guidance” will help you to identify and explain your options but will not tell them what to do or which product to buy; the decision is yours. Providers of guidance are responsible for the accuracy and quality of the information they provide but not for any decision that is made based on it. Guidance will suggest what you can do.
Normally our financial guidance includes an initial review and ongoing reviews of your financial circumstances to find ways to help improve your finances, create a plan for the future and an action list to help achieve your goals. It’s also a chance for us to explore topics you want to master including general information on pensions, investments, protection, mortgages, debts, income and expenses.
Where we identify a regulated advice service that is required before or during the exercise, we will pick this up separately. This will have a different client agreement that covers our costs and charges.
4. Your account
In order to access features of the Service, you’ll need to create an account on the Fintuity Platform. This requires your email, phone number, and for you to set-up a secure password. You should always keep all details completely confidential, and never allow others to access your user account as you are solely responsible for the activity that occurs on it.
From time to time we may need to contact you via email or phone to resolve issues with your account, or inform you about updates to the product or service. By registering on the platform, you give us permission to do so.
If you are accessing the Service via our mobile App you should make sure that the App remains updated to the latest version, and we have the right to disable or delete user accounts at any time if you have failed to comply with our Terms of use.
